Invention Of A Writer
Writing is a specific form of expression that is meant to captivate an audience and bring them into your world. It is important to make them feel your words and see your thoughts as though you were not even there. They must get lost in the story to the point that they forget it is a story, and feel a certain sadness when it comes to an end. Only then, can you consider yourself a true writer.
I was a very quiet and introverted child that was afraid of her own shadow, but by age 6, I knew I wanted to write even before I knew how to write. In my mind, I had stories that made me every bit the person I was afraid to be, and through the magic of writing, I became that person.
I encourage anyone who has ever had the desire to write to keep that ember in your heart until it flames and you are consumed with the need to fulfill it. You must be moved, to be inspired, but all that limits you, is you.
